Leeuwin Estate, which was established in 1969, is a winery in the Margaret River wine region that owns over 48 hectares of vineyards and produces about 60,000 cases of wine during each vintage. Leeuwin Estate’s best known wine is the “Art Series Chardonnay.” A large amount of the grapes used to produce this wine are from the “Block 20” vineyard, which was considered by Australian Sommelier Magazine as one of the “Top 25 Australian vineyards. Schiller Vineyards
Schiller Vineyards, in the Barossa Valley wine region of South Australia, is a sixth generation family owned and operated vineyard that was established in 1864. They have 65 hectares of vineyards that they sell to Barossa wine producers for table wines. Some of their plantings include Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Grenache, Merlot, Riesling, Semillon and Shiraz.
Vasse Felix
Vasse Felix, the very first winery and vineyard established in the Margaret River wine region in Western Australia, is a recognized pioneer of the region. It was first established by Dr. Tom Cullity, a cardiologist, in Cowaramup in 1967, and features an award winning restaurant on the property as well.
